Ceilidhs

Online advance tickets are £12 full and £8 concession. On the door: £15 full and £10 concession.

Doors open at 7pm. Dancing runs 7:30pm to 11pm with a break around 9:15pm for the raffle.

Absolutely! No need to bring a partner. Our ceilidhs are relaxed and welcoming — we’ll soon have you birling on the dance floor.

Our bands have experienced callers who walk you through each dance before it starts. No experience needed.

Informal — wear something comfortable. Layers are a good idea as it gets warm. Sensible shoes recommended, not heels!

Children are welcome. Ages 5–16 are charged at concession rate, under 5s free (but need a ticket). Children should not be in the bar area unsupervised.

For groups of 10+ we can reserve tables until 8pm. Email the SMG office at least 7 days before.

Unfortunately ceilidh tickets are non-refundable — they are also fundraising events for SMG. You are welcome to resell tickets yourself.

If you see this after 7pm on ceilidh night, online sales have closed. There may be tickets at the venue from 7pm — check our Facebook page.
